Ontario officially closed its Entrepreneur Stream on November 4, following a pause in applications since December 2023.
On November 5 and 6, British Columbia held draws through its Provincial Nominee Program, selecting both entrepreneurs and skilled workers for immigration to the province.

Ontario
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has announced the closure of its Entrepreneur Stream. Current applications will still be processed, and eligible candidates may qualify for permanent residence if they full fill their business commitments in Ontario.
The OINP will contact all current applicants soon with further instructions.

British Columbia
The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) held two draws on November 5 and 6.
On November 5, the BCPNP issued a total of at least 11 invitations to apply (ITAs) through its Base and Regional Entrepreneur streams, each with different minimum scores:
- Entrepreneur Base Stream: Cut-off score of 115, with 10 ITAs issued.
- Entrepreneur Regional Stream: Cut-off score of 130, with fewer than 5 ITAs issued.
On November 6, the BCPNP held a draw for the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including those with profiles in the federal Express Entry pool (EEBC).
Invitations were issued to candidates based on their experience in key occupations in British Columbia, with different cut-off scores for each industry and profession.
