Starting September 30, 2024, candidates must submit a Worker Expression of Interest (EOI). This is for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) worker streams. Submit your EOI to receive an invitation to apply. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your immigration journey!
You can submit a Worker EOI without any charge.
Candidates will provide their information through an online Worker EOI form in the AAIP portal. Each EOI will be scored and ranked using the Worker EOI Points grid. Successful candidates will enter the Worker Stream pool for selection consideration. Take this opportunity to move closer to your immigration goals!
The AAIP will regularly conduct draws from the Worker Stream pool for specific worker streams and pathways. Candidates will be selected and invited based on their EOI score rankings, provincial labour market needs, available AAIP nominations, and application levels. Those chosen will receive an invitation to apply via email.
While the new system launches on September 30, 2024, at 10 AM, there’s no need to rush. The AAIP won’t begin draws from the Worker Stream pool until mid to late October 2024. Take your time to prepare your Worker EOI!
To prepare for submitting a Worker EOI, please follow these steps:
- Confirm your eligibility for one or more AAIP worker streams.
- Review the Worker EOI Points grid to understand the information required and how points are awarded.
- Check your existing AAIP applications or Entrepreneur EOIs.
- You can only submit one Worker EOI.
- Withdraw any existing Worker EOIs, Entrepreneur EOIs, or active AAIP applications before creating a new Worker EOI.
Ensure you have a valid basic Alberta.ca Account, using either an existing basic or verified account.
