On September 5th, the OINP conducted a draw for the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, issuing 96 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with CRS scores between 290 and 393.

To be eligible, candidates must be in the federal Express Entry pool via the FSWP or CEC, meet work experience and language requirements, hold a recognized degree, plan to live in Ontario, and show sufficient funds. Candidates must first receive an NOI from Ontario before applying for PR with IRCC.

Saskatchewan’s Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot Program comes to an End

Effective August 30, 2024, the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot under SINP is closed. No new applications or job approvals will be accepted.

However, applications with a valid Candidate-Specific Job Approval Letter will still be processed. This change aims to streamline immigration pathways and improve settlement outcomes.

Other SINP categories remain open, offering alternative pathways. Information sessions on these options will be held on September 6 and 11, 2024.
